For buyers (SMB / mid-market)
If you are tired of demos that start before you know the price, use this directory when you already have a budget band and need a shortlist. It is not a 10,000-tool encyclopedia, and it will not invent a “from $X” for quote-only vendors.
Suggested workflow
- Pick a category (endpoint, email, identity, patch/MDM, compliance, etc.).
- Filter transparency: start with Published, then Partial. Open quote-only only if you already expect a sales call.
- Filter budget band: bands are planning hints from unit price × plausible seat counts, not quotes.
- Read the pricing note + sources on each detail page. Re-check the vendor before you buy.
- Compare 2 to 3 on deploy model, MSP fit, and what they replace. Not star ratings (we don't invent those).
What the labels mean (buyer view)
- Published: you can usually self-serve or cite a primary price page in procurement.
- Partial: structure is public; the durable dollar figure needs a live cart/calculator check.
- Marketplace only: AWS/Azure listing is the clearest public number; direct deals differ.
- Quote only: plan for a sales cycle; we refuse to invent a "from $X".
Why this directory
Mid-market buyers often waste weeks discovering that transparent cybersecurity pricing is rare. We bias the catalog toward tools where price is findable, and we label the rest honestly, so you can shortlist under budget before a sales call.
Catalog today: 73 tools · 30 published · 24 partial. No fake traffic claims. Vendors: Want to be Featured? ($149/mo; checkout isn’t live yet).
